I call Shenanigans

The NCAA really just needs to die a quick and painful death.

il_570xN.413214522_70qx

Honestly with the flip-flopping, improper treatment and down right shady behavior, the NCAA has solidified itself as THE most counterproductive, incompetent, STUPID athletic association of all time.

sp_1310_clip02

Ever since this Johnny Manziel fiasco, bestowing a 30 minute time out as sufficient punishment for the Heisman Trophy Winner, the multi-billion dollar lawsuit brought on by past/present college athletes suing the NCAA for unfair treatment of student-athletes (or is it athlete-students…?), cutting ties with EA Games as well as the persistent douchebaggary of the Association, no one can take the NCAA seriously anymore.

You would think after all this controversy that the NCAA would get their shit together and start acting like a real collegiate authority, but no, their authority is as trustworthy as an alcohol free punch bowl at a frat party.  A JOKE.

Party-School-Red-Cups

Just like their revisionist history penalty, the NCAA is backtracking.  The NCAA announced Tuesday that it would begin to restore some of the scholarships it took from Penn State in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky child sex-abuse scandal.   Penn State, under Coach Bill O’Brien, will be allowed to increase its scholarship number to 75 in 2014-15, 80 in 2015-16 and begin competing with the maximum 85 in the 2016-17 academic year.

Puke in my mouth, wtf NCAA.  Answer me this, what does revisionist history solve??  Better yet, let’s ask Doc Brown, he will know what to do.

DocBrown

As a college football fan, forgive me for calling: Shenanigans!!

I am calling Shenanigans on the NCAA for their fickle executive decisions.  Did I say decisions?  I meant temporary punishments?  Did I say punishments?  I meant a croc of shit.

monnite4

Why have we let these ass clowns decide what is ok and what isn’t ok in college sports when they don’t even know what to do themselves?  Why have our leaders backtrack on decisions they have already made?  Doesn’t that merely reflect poor judgement and weak character from our supposed confident leaders?  Seriously, what gives George Bush?

_blog_wp-content_uploads_2008_12_bush-shrugging

Their decision to reduce the penalties by giving back the scholarships they initially took away from Penn State University is ridiculous.  Why…WHY!?!  Can we at least be given an explanation as to why these penalties are forgiven and other can not be, like USC.

FormalSeal_Word_RegUse_GoldOnCard

USC thought, why not? If Penn State can get away with years child sexual abuse then maybe we can get away with one player’s greed, a greed that lives in every warm-blooded collegiate athlete (cough:: Johnny Football:::).  Hey, can’t blame USC for trying.

083113-CFB-AGGIES-JOHNNY-MANZIEL-DC-PI3_20130831155021857_640_480

The NCAA required less than a day to rule on USC’s latest appeal to modify the sanctions handed down in the case.

A day after USC Athletic Director Pat Haden met with NCAA officials in Indianapolis to request an easing of scholarship reductions, the NCAA said Friday that there would be no appeal.

la-sp-sn-usc-football-ncaa-rejects-pat-hadens--001

It’s honestly this inconsistency in the NCAA that is beyond frustrating.  Ever since USC was given the harshest punishments ever handed down by the NCAA back in June 2010, there has yet to be an equal punishment.  Penn State came close but DUDE, are we seriously having this argument? Child rape vs. money….. clearly 1 individual’s greedy behavior yet realistic career aspirations is much worse than child sex abuse.  Yes, of course.

reggie-bush-usc

I don’t want to get into the East Coast vs West Coast battle, but clearly this East Coast bias has yet to, perhaps ever, subside in college sports.  Let us save that for another time.  All I ask is for the NCAA to be stern, to be honest and is to too much to ask to be FAIR?!

6a01156f224d03970c0120a5b8f60a970c-800wi

With little shiesty actions like these, the NCAA is becoming more and more obsolete and down right idiotic.  My call of Shenanigans is also a call for a Disbandment: disbandment of all the current associates presently at the NCAA.   Because clearly nobody there can tell the difference between what is right and what is wrong.

Doesn’t the NCAA remind of you the big bad woman Principal in Roald Dahl’s Maltida, Mrs. Trunchbull. The relentless educator who just bullies everybody for no reason at all?

mt

Grabbing kids by the pigtails, throwing them over the fences, making fat kids eat cake and putting children into the chokey.  That’s where USC will remain now and forever……the chokey.

Tumblr_lohpg7XtIk1qdnnuqo1_500

Realistically college sports needs a police system, needs some higher administration, needs ORDER, so the NCAA can’t just go away.  I can only pray that this multi-billion dollar lawsuit bankrupts those bastards and takes everything from them, leaving them with the only option of closing their doors and allowing each conference to independently regulate themselves.   Lord, don’t fail me now!

The Gingerbread Man vs. Evil

CANELO vs. MAYWEATHER…..or as I like to call it THE GINGERBREAD MAN vs. EVIL…Who will you be rooting for this Saturday night?

Mayweather v Canelo: undefeated champions face off in Time Square - video

This good vs. evil fight is to go down in the books, a blockbuster fight seeing how both fighters are undefeated.  In the blue corner, Saul Canelo Alvarez, a red-headed undefeated Mexican fighter from Guadelajara (woot!)  who helps old ladies cross the streets and rescues cats from trees on fire.  In the red corner, Floyd Mayweather Jr., the undefeated spawn of Satan.

If you are questioning who to root for in this fight, get off this blog now……seriously.

MAYWEATHER-inside_20130911134825234_0_0

This fight is being promoted as “The One”- as in the one that could finally end Floyd Mayweather’s reign of terror.  Slightly south of $19 million just from ticket goers alone, the fight will bring Mayweather $40 million plus a pay-per-view showing that could near 2 million buys.  Jeez.  The guy is 44-0, you do that math. This is a big fight, probably the biggest fight in combat sports history, with SOOOooOOO much riding on the line.

Mayweather-vs-Canelo

How can you NOT root the Gingerbread man?  Alvarez has long been touted as the guy to topple Mayweather and now he gets his chance, with a plethora of titles on the line. Alvarez’s WBA, WBC and The Ring light middleweight title are up for grabs alongside Floyd’s super light middleweight title. Can he do it?  Yes.  Yes he can.  And he WILL.

canelo-alvarez

If there is any good left in the world, Canelo will win this fight.  How the hell can you or anybody for that matter, root for Mayweather? Honestly, the man is a god awful terrible human being.  He is a racist, a narcissist, a sexist, a money hungry big mouth and everything else in between.

50-cent-and-floyd-mayweather-money

You would think you would want an undefeated fighter to win and stay undefeated, but not, not this guy in a long shot.  Mayweather makes it really easy for anyone to hate him.  During Mayweather vs. De La Hoya fight promotion, Mayweather came out dressed like a “mexican” in a sombero and poncho. Oscar de la Hoya is a Mexican American fighter. This all took place on Cinco de Mayo.  Ok…….

Floyd Mayweather Jr.

During his so-called tiff with Manny Pacquiao, a Filipino fighter with whom he has long had a war of words with over their inability to a potential matchup,  he called him a “little yellow chump.” Then he went on to say, “Once I stomp the midget, I’m gonna make that mother fucker make me a sushi roll.”  YEA, I am going to spell out F-U-C-K because that’s what the racist said.  No holding back here yo.

Oscar+de+la+Hoya+v+Manny+Pacquiao+Weigh+7MW4peCBwhPlIF you ever watched Mayweather when he WAS on HBO Boxing (WAS being the operative word because he left HBO for Showtime for more “money”…  Let’s be honest, HBO couldn’t stand his ass anymore), every word out of his mouth was “ME,” “MONEY,” “The GREATEST,” and “SHUTUP.” The dude literally got in a fight with his own father on the show, threatening to beat him up if he didn’t leave HIS gym.  We get it, you are a fighter, but to fight your own father?  Oh wait, it gets better, because as more information unfolds you will see that Mayweather is just a misunderstood family man.

“Floyd made a business decision that is best for him and best for his family,” said Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, about leaving for the Showtime network.  Best for his family you say?  Well, that is interesting.

800_Floyd_Mayweather_with_kids_608354_display_image

Mayweather loves his family so much he had to express his emotions the only way he knows how.  In September 2012, he beat up his baby mama, Josie Harris, as two of their babies watched no less.  Mayweather pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor battery domestic violence, and no contest to a pair of harassment charges.

I’m not saying Canelo is an angel but to everyone’s knowledge, he is the better man.  Shoot, any man with a library card is a better man than Mayweather.

So if you find yourself rooting for this horrible human being tomorrow night,  please, go punch yourself in the face.  Thank you.

(Hopefully he will look like this after his defeat on Saturday night)–>

There is no God?

A devout Christian dedicating a good part of his life to GOD by serving his Lord in every way possible, adamantly praying and freely sacrificing his time and effort to the religion is the RIGHT “Christian” thing to do.  And in return, God’s plan is said to steer you down the path of righteousness, the path that will guide you where you are meant to be in life.  Welcome to the “Good” Christian life.

christians.

So why is Tebow’s path meant to go down the shitter?

Tim Tebow : Jesus’s wet dream, a Christian do-gooder, a God squadder…call him what you want, Tebow loves GOD and isn’t shy about it.

tim-tebow

So with everything going wrong in his NFL career, where does GOD fit into all of this?

120109045741-tebow-kneel-story-top

Everything was going right with Tebow: Heisman trophy winner, 2 NCAA championships, 1st round draft pick, starting as Quarterback for the Denver Broncos, leading the Broncos to a playoff win to reach the Divisional Round, picked up by an ailing Jets squad in dire need of a Quarterback, then picked up again by the power house Patriots team with the superior coaching of Bill Billicheck and then finally, all of a sudden…he is released….out into the unemployed wild.

082913-Jets-LO3_20130829181904973_600_400

If Tebow is no longer playing in the NFL (his lifelong dream) then is there really a God?

tim-tebow-god-jesus-2

Has GOD led Tebow to the Arena Football League to play for the L.A. KISS?  Really? This is what Tim Tebow’s hard efforts and prayer have brought him: nothing but an embarrassing washed up NFL career?

WTF GOD?!  If Tebow can’t make it in God’s good graces than what the hell are the rest of us heathens to do?  Tebow’s positive attitude and hopeful spirit is something you don’t see everyday in sports.  It was refreshing to hear him talk about the upside of his down and out career situations and move forward in admirable fashion.  But how admirable is it if you are going to go live out your career playing for a football team owned by the band KISS?

(Haha that would be kinda sweet)

Gene-Simmons-of-Kiss--002

BUT, did you ever think that THIS is MEANT TO BE for Tebow.  Maybe Tebow is meant to an analyst on ESPN for College Football (replacing Lee Corso…..AMAZING) or perhaps to steer his football efforts and expertise more towards coaching. Tebow had a great run, some would say even a phenomenal, but I think it is safe to say that Tebowmania has come to a close.

tebow-jesus-1

Tebow already fulfilled his childhood dream of playing Quarterback in the NFL, just not a very long dream. Maybe his other unspoken dreams of NOT playing Quarterback will eventually come true, whatever those may be.  What does the homeboy Jesus think?
